All that we need is right here and now
this moment this song.
Where your ears are focused is where you are
the rest is merely lights for show.
Where do we go from here? How will we see clearly?
This is the way my heart is telling me to move.
Taking the time to hear where your name is called to,
This will reveal the goals for you to pursue.

Awe Inamorata

As I sit back I start to think on all these things
that we could know only if we harvest these seeds that call to grow.
I feel at times like a child wandering in his dad's room
finding the tools that he uses to bring us food sustains our home.
Like the warmth of a fire at night that wards off the fright
leaves wounds more severe than knife that a man could wield.
Don't you know that fire shapes the steel?
Where's the line do I go or stay? Am I ecstatic or in dismay?
Do you miss me in all the same ways?
Flipping through the words of ancient sages,
searching desperately. give me the pages.
How to smell this rose without harming us?
I fear it's not clear. I'm still learning, will a path appear?
The journeys long and hard I know, but if we manage to undergo
we'll see the sun rise, a wind that blows with a whole new world at our feet to explore.
All of this and so much more, yet I hesitate to carry on.
Do I have the strength in me to see this dawn?
As I look back upon those fields years ago sown
The sweat and blood poured into that stone not knowing those hours would show.
Sometimes I need to be scared of things to keep myself straight.
Recognizing the time it takes to pay a responsible wage.
By the same dice I'm called to the luxury of
wearing that bow. Using as I've been shown for the good of my own.

Just Remember

I know I may sound like a siren singing you to shipwreck
If your heart is telling you, I ask you, I ask you to steer clear.
Run girl run. Don't fly too close to this sun.
I'd so much rather loose you than burn you in the end my friend.
Just remember the love we bred.
Just remember that we always were fed.
I'm so torn in my heart. It's the same distance that killing me
as the space in between us that lets our souls breathe.
How will I cope with this dichotomy
The fear within my mind makes me leave in the middle of the cold night.
Just remember the love we bred.
Just remember that we always were fed.
We chose to tether, we bonded together
smearing energies through our roots eyes and souls.
Not forever, how long will it weather
these frequent vacancies of my vessel.
What if's aren't waiting, theres constantly debating
Do desert blooms endure this much rain?
Should we turn the lights out while I am gone for the night
I want you to see your dreams in your sleep. See your fantasies.
Just remember the love we bred.
Just remember that we always were fed.
